Minutes

PRS - Ian

• Ian - I want to do it my way, not the old way. Weekly/biweekly event of everyone getting together and do something with goals dealt by me. Could also serve as classes/goal. Rather than figuring it out yourself. PS1 funded with Ian telling them to live their dreams
• Joe - Why does this apply to us
• Ian - This is geared toward new members, so advertise it through us.
• Max - Is it just Power Racing
• Ian - Could be anything, it’s more just small projects that PS1 funds
• Joe - Nick, you and ian do this
• Nick - Hell yeah. I want to do this. Doing what Ian wants to do is my dream

Scholarships

• Members were reached out to and pending scholarships were reached out to
• We need to figure out what scholarships look like, but it’s all kind of gobbled

Member Points

• Max was working on member points proposal, but it is kind of in the air…
• Retooling Member points to have dedicated positions that reward member points along with flex points
• Member Points - Me and Joe to talk about this and the vote

Entryway

• Wrote a quick script of a 30 second bio for the front entrance.

Orientation

• Joe and Patience met with Steve Farkas to talk about orientation. Want to overhaul it before we jump in. Patience sat through it all to get the gist, and they floated changing it up=
• Condensed, Fun, Giving back to the space.
• Should be able to do “give back” in each area twice a year.
• Current membership will have to do orientation within three
• 1.5 hr + addition
• Max - Why not just do a canvas course? We want them to get into the space
• Patience - Either ask a canvas course or an in person thing
• Nick - I think we need to come into the space
• Joe - this is mainly trying to get feedback to coming into the space
• Nick - Cavas is outsourcing the work of capturing attendance
• Patience - Why not people who are there, do an exit survey?
• Nick - Get Area Hosts/Authorizer from two different areas?
• Joe - when we ask more of them, they don’t like it. It adds up.
• Nick - Why not make it part of 5 tuesday? Make it fun
• Joe - Sure
• Match it up with area host office hours
• Alisha - You’ll need it ran by the board
• Joe - Yeah

FreshDesk

• Liason to the Treasurer to handle stuff. Could quickly give reimbursements. If they have bandwidth.
