There are four lighting circuits upstairs, three of which are on three-way switches.
* There is a switch immediately to the left of the front doorway for stairwell and upstairs landing.
* There are three switches on the Arts side of the stairwell labelled 'Arts' 'Electronics' and 'Mid'
** Arts is the arts side of the uptsairs
** Electronics is about half of the fixtures on that side of the room, towards the windows
** Mid is the other half of the electronics area, closer to the bathroom
* Many of the fixtures in electronics have individual pull-switches
* There are two switches by the door to the back staircase

There are a few more lights in the shop that don't need to be left on overnight.1) above the woodworking sanding equipment- pull the plug. 2) to the left of the manual Bridgeport there is a switch controlling the lights overhead. 3) on the cold metals island there is a power strip for the lights above. 4) to the right of the sink in hot metals is a wall switch.
