It is a weird beast that can accept single or three phase power, and multiple voltages. It auto detects. And white is NOT neutral. It doesn't have a neutral. You wire white and black for split phase 240V and leave red disconnected. For three phase, you wire white, black, and red. Green always goes to ground in both cases.
