This election was unprecedented as there were no accepted nominations for the majority of the board positions prior to election day. Volunteers were sought for a special election to be held immediately as per the bylaws. In an unexpected turn of events, two candidates each volunteered to run for President despite not having participated in the nomination process. James Lamken volunteered first, and was quickly followed by Paul Ocampo. All positions, with the exception of the President, were unopposed. A special election was held during the annual meeting to decide between the two volunteers for President.

This election was unprecedented as there were no accepted nominations for the majority of the board positions prior to election day.
