Background

A PSOne vaccination mandate passed on January 11th that forbids all unvaccinated or unregistered members entry after January 24th.

To maintain organizational values of inclusion, diversity, and privacy among members, this vote provides two days out of the week that allow members access to PSOne regardless of vaccination status. Members that are concerned about Covid-19 will have the remaining five days out of the week where a vaccination or exemption is required for entry.

Synopsis

This policy, if enacted, takes effect January 25, 2022. Members are not required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status on unrestricted days. Additionally, to align with Chicago's mandate, religious exemptions will be accepted for restricted days, pending a negative test.

Language of the Vote

The Membership enacts the following amendment to the '2022 COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement Policy' that goes into effect January 24th:

Members are allowed access to PSOne on unrestricted days (as defined below) regardless of vaccination status. Members must still adhere to mask mandates and be mindful of social distancing.

Restricted days are defined as Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Unrestricted days are defined as Thursday and Friday.

Members are not required to provide vaccination status to have access to PSOne on unrestricted days.

This amendment applies strictly to members. Guests must still provide vaccination proof to gain entry to PSOne on any day.

The RFID door controller changes as part of the '2022 COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement Policy' will not be applied to unrestricted days.

Signs posted as part of the vaccination mandate will indicate restricted and unrestricted days.

To align with the city of Chicago's vaccination mandate, religious exemptions will be accepted on restricted days. Members can provide religious exemptions to the DRC, and will be required to provide a negative Covid-19 test 72 hours prior to entry.
