Some areas and machines at PS1 require authorization before use. Authorizations can take different forms including online quizzes, group demonstrations, and individual training sessions. Some authorizations are regularly scheduled, and others are scheduled as-needed. Regularly scheduled authorizations can be found on the Events Calendar. To schedule an authorization not found on the calendar, members may post in the Google Group or contact a volunteer authorizer directly.

Canvas

A growing number of authorizations are being migrated to Canvas, an education platform. Authorizations can utilize Canvas to provide online course components, supplemental resources, and scheduling information. You may log into Canvas using your PS1 account information.
