Our Area Hosts and Volunteer Positions Policy requires the board to review all area host and volunteer positions to determine whether they are still needed or if they should be reorganized or eliminated. The logistics of this happens at the discretion of the board.

This wiki page lists some example procedures.

  • Announcements during meetings.
  • Posts to mailing lists.
  • Bulk email to all members in our database. (advantage: we had more responses than ever before? disadvantage: complaints about spam)
  • Fliers posted in the building. Use really loud colors and post fliers in prominent locations including the pooping stations.
  • Asking people to voluntell people to apply.
