Introductions

• Brief overview of what PS1 is (<1min).
• New members/visitors introduce themselves.
• Introduce the board and area hosts.

Announcements

• Vote for Bar Kegerator Announcement
  • PS:1's first Tea Social is this Sunday at 4pm. Arturo is NOT providing cucumber sandwiches. What a jerk.
    • Please bring all Tea and Tea Accessories.
  • Hackaday is holding a contest to send people to space. We're having a planning meeting for projects to submit. The deadline is in august. The meeting is Friday at 6:00pm. Seek out Anthony or Jenny for more information.
• Jerry hassles everyone about Pitchfork again. Boring. They're full up. Jerry has no remorse. Shut up.
• Something something Hope X - check the mailing list for deets
• Fire jam at foster beach in like, two weeks? Don't bring alcohol.
• There's an unboxing of our new stainless steel cookware after the meeting. If you're reading these, you're probably missing it!
• Jesse needs a rat sitter. Hef is disqualified. 4th of July weekend. Contact Jesse for more info.
• Hef is giving a talk next Tuesday about something: Either "How PS1 works" or "How PS1's technology works." It may end up on the calendar.

• Meeting begins at 20:02
• Welcome to PS1. Bry thinks it's not important that she's president.
  • All glory to the hypnotoad.
• New/old folks introduce themselves
  • Ash found out about us from Dan. Wood projects - she makes fire toys, jewellry. Things on fire. Circus? One day, larger circus equipment (trapeze?).
  • Scott heard about us from a friend of his. He makes musical instruments.
  • 3D printed ukeles are not scooter-rated.
  • Hef likes to hack the space. Policy, technology, etc. Found out about PS1 at Flourish some years ago.
  • Arturo likes hacking kitchens. He can't remember the last time he did something else. He's excited to be our new kitchen area host and is looking forward to make it better.
• Things to do around the space.
  • Dallas Makerspace has a much nicer web site than us. Bry is going to hold a meeting about how to make ours less crappy.
  • Will needs help lifting up Refrigeration Station: One to put it on shims so we can get a drip tray under there.

  • Arturo has arranged for the delivery of our new fridge.
  • Hef would like to thank some folks for helping with an IT-centric power hour. Hef, Bry, loans did stuff, Lyn, Arturo and Kevin. Thanks, all!
