• To Do Tasks:
  • New 3D printing filament is needed.
  • Need more PS:One stickers.
  • Alphabetized liability waivers need filing. These are in the safe.
  • Keep taking out the trash.
• Awesome Callouts:
  • Derek hung the projector screen in the lounge.
  • Doorman Dave and Hef for getting Discourse running.
  • Justin, Andrew and Arturo for going to South Side Maker Faire.
  • Andrew for getting together a cleanup event for Area Hosts.
• Things People Hacked:
  • Elizabeth Koprucki made a space called the Fab Lab at the Chicago Innovation Exchange. Soft opening happened four weeks ago.
  • Carl discovered that an empty plastic alcohol bottle turned upside down makes an excellent funnel for watering plants.
• Announcements:
  • Tonight after the meeting: 300 Seconds of Fame
  • Wednesday, August 12, 7 PM: Radiationpalooza with Bionerd23, Ryan, and Elizabeth. Will replace SEM Office Hours this month.
  • Python Office Hours which normally happens Wednesday is cancelled on account of radiation.
  • Friday, August 14, 8 PM: Dungeons and Dragons game
  • Saturday, August 15, 2 PM: Chicago LUG (Linux Users Group) - in the electronics area.
  • Saturday 5 PM: Analog Game Night
  • Saturday, August 15, 7 PM: NPOO - Newbie Programmer Office Hours.
  • Sunday, August 16, 12 PM: Bread and Sausage Making
  • Saturday, August 22, 12 PM: Shop Cleanup Day. The shop will be closed for cleaning. Food and drink will be provided.
