• Intro to the Makerspace

• New People (name - where did you hear about us - what do you make/hack)
  • Shawn, online, laser cut stuff, electronics.
  • Ben, mutual friend, microcontrollers and woodworking.

• Introduction of Board and Area Hosts

• Things that need doing around the space
  • Help hanging fire extinguishers and signs.
  • Taking out garbage.
  • Be excellent.
  • The table saw has an internal dust collection hose that falls out. This needs to be fixed.
  • Kitchen trash: people doing a good job, and it has wheels. Recycling: please don't put aluminum food tins in recycling, just cans. No glass bottles.

• Awesome Call outs
  • The Board for finishing filing tax forms.
  • Brian for reviewing the budgets and preparing reports.

• What have you been hacking
  • Everett broke off a tap in a hole, couldn't get it out, so he threw the part out.
  • Doorman Dave made an apple cider press.

• Announcements
  • Wednesday, October 7, 7 PM - Python Office Hours
  • Friday, October 9, 6:30 PM - Dungeon Builders Guild having a Paddle build party
  • Wednesday, October 14, 6 PM - MakerBiz
  • Most tools require authorization to use! If you don't know, ask.
  • Waste Management was unable to empty the dumpster September 16 because the area was blocked. They come Mon-Wed-Fri.

  • Authorizations on ShopBot - talk to Andrew. This is scheduled on Meetup and announced on the list.
