Paypal is the method used to collect membership dues.

By Subscription Only

Occasionally prospective members wish to make one off payments to PS:One instead of subscribing as a member. We find that this has a tendency to get us perceived as a tool rental shop, and that is not what the members of PS:One are interested in being. This is why we don't accept one off payments as membership dues.

Reimbursements

Many members opt to get reimbursed for purchases made on behalf of PS:One via their PayPal account. This has the advantage of being fast, and not requiring that the reimburser and reimbursee be in the same space at the same time.

Refunds

There is no clear rule on how refunds to membership dues work.

Error'd payments are typically refunded quickly.

Payment Suspended Emails

Don't Panic: We get suspended payment notifications from PayPal all the time.

PayPal recently changed the text of the email to the member to include this line:

Pumping Station One: NFP has suspended your automatic payments. Contact Pumping Station One: NFP for more details or to reactivate your payments.

This line in the email has lead a couple people to believe they were being kicked out or something similar. This is not the case.

Generally, What happens is either you didn't have enough in your account, an eCheck failed to clear, or most frequently: Your credit card on record with PayPal has expired.
