SAFE SPACE AGREEMENT

As a participant at Pumping Station: One, you agree to treat everyone with respect including members, guests, and participants. This respect will extend to everyone regardless of level of experience, level of ability, level of interest, gender, gender expression, sexuality, age, race, creed, color, origin, or personal experience.

Members and participants are encouraged to attempt to resolve their own conflicts. This can include, but is not limited to, any of the following that the conflict:

• Speaking with the offender directly
• Enlisting a third party to speak with the offender
• Enlisting a third party to mediate a discussion

If attempts to resolve the problem are ineffective, notify the board. The board will make a determination about any violations of this agreement, and decide on the consequences. This will take place at a special meeting of the board of directors.

The consequences may include, but are not limited to:

• Bans or restrictions on membership privileges, on a temporary or permanent basis.
• Restitution for any damage done in the course of the violation.

Violence or threats of any kind can result in immediate ejection and revocation of membership without refund of dues.

Petitions for readmittance may be considered by the Board of Directors.

Any situation not covered in this document will be resolved by the Board of Directors.
