As we have graduated from being a club,to an official NFP, we need to do our diligence in looking to see if we have the rights to present copyrighted material, in a public, or semi-public forum. There are a number of movies, for example, which are known to be released into the public domain.

  • https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_in_the_public_domain_in_the_United_States

• Compliance with copyright laws
  • For other movies, or other forms of media, it may require a bit of work, to figure out if it is ok to present, and any fees associated (if any).
  • Note that Creative Commons protected movies are copyrighted but are perfectly usable in the space
  • Please due due diligence and follow up with all content creators for all blog posts, youtube clips, archive.org, stl files, source code, etc., when using PS:1 infrastructure.
