information retention policies

I'm bringing this up due to camera discussion. I saw discussion earlier this year on information retention as well as private data handling, but I am not up to date on the discussions that happened. I'd like the board and people involved to provide a status update. When I was on the board this was important to me and I stated my positions. I'd like to be able to provide those to the new board. camera installation

I have a complaint from 2 years ago when it was claimed that the cameras were installed. The person who made the claim did not create an equipment wiki page or provide any details to the board about the installation. I made an equipment page to be filled in, and it never got filled in. I am unhappy about this and would like to know how things can be better in the future. When we get new equipment and someone says they have installed it, how will it be verified?
