: That construction orange light that was mounted on the front door (supposedly) was one while the back door was open. It was nonfunctional when I joined (early 2013). A new indicator system would be somewhat easier today - there's at least one door-open sensor on the back door, and a beaglebone right there that it could be connected to. There is, helpfully, another beaglebone by the front door that could drive an indicator easily. --[[User:Dbever|Dbever]] ([[User talk:Dbever|talk]]) 06:53, 3 September 2015 (CDT)

Back Door Question

Why doesn't the back door automatically close / why does the light that indicates the door is open not work?

That construction orange light that was mounted on the front door (supposedly) was on while the back door was open. It was nonfunctional when I joined (early 2013). A new indicator system would be somewhat easier today - there's at least one door-open sensor on the back door, and a beaglebone right there that it could be connected to. There is, helpfully, another beaglebone by the front door that could drive an indicator easily. --Dbever (talk) 06:53, 3 September 2015 (CDT)
