To the extent I understand this sentence, federal tax treatment and how a corporation is organized under state law are different things. I'll limit my comment to offer this general factual observation. No need for the president of PS1 to sneeringly and without consequences publicly claim I'm giving PS1 unsolicited legal advice and question my competence, because I'm not. School Factory

We are a not for profit with 501c3 status in the state of Illinois.

To the extent I understand this sentence, federal tax treatment and how a corporation is organized under state law are different things. I'll limit my comment to offer this general factual observation. No need for the president of PS1 to sneeringly and without consequences publicly claim I'm giving PS1 unsolicited legal advice and question my competence, because I'm not.
