Policies may be set by the board of directors via a Board vote, so long as the policy expires 3 weeks after the Board votes on the policies.

The following 3 policies are member curated policies.

All policies voted on and passed by the BoD automatically become vote proposals for the membership to vote on to confirm. At least one week must be allowed for the policy to be adjusted. After that week, normal membership voting rules apply.

Background

The membership and the board are not two distinct groups.

If a non-board member of the organization wanted to work on insurance compliance, I would be inclined to encourage them.

The following 3 pages could be seen as an obstacle to that.

Members serving on the board generally ensure insurance obligations are being fulfilled. However, anyone who wants to work on insurance compliance should be able to, and is strongly encouraged to work with other members already working on the issues.

The policy structure at PS:One can be convoluted and difficult to follow, so I write a hand-dandy guide available here: Understanding Policy Structure at PS:One

Language

The following 3 policies are member curated policies.
