Background

We are preparing a new vote for the kitchen area renovation and we need to decide what territory the future renovated kitchen will occupy. Plans are provided showing the two different floor layouts that may occur should we pass a kitchen renovation vote. This vote is to decide if we should pursue a new plan A over the old plan B when we set up the vote. This is not a vote to renovate the kitchen yet but it is a vote to determine what territory the kitchen will occupy.

The following will be included in this vote

Do you want the official Kitchen Area to shift over to occupy what was once slotted to be the small metals area, is now officially general area space, and is now being occupied by cold metals?

Benefits of Plan A over Plan B

More convenient access from kitchen area to all other departments. Ability to host more people in the lounge for events if the food is fully accessible in the kitchen. Beer church and all of it’s equipment can remain where it is currently stationed. the linens and dishes cabinet will be located more conveniently by the sink.

Complications

An extra wall and doors will have to be installed. The visage from one end of the building to the other will change. Cold metals will have to shift equipment.

Language

We authorize the board to shift the kitchen area so that it connects directly to the lounge in accordance to the submitted plan A.
