Michaud's Law is a codification of a semi-common occurrence in hackerspaces and similar places. It states:
"A hackerspace will have every conceivable object known to the mind of man, except for that thing that you need right this minute to complete your project, that you saw only yesterday."
The corollary to this law is:
"If a hackerspace does have the item you need, it will have 5 of them, and 90% of them won't work."
