Background
Our current router table is a hacked together thing and it could be better. The router gets a lot of use, and our best router finally passed on. Let's get a high-quality router table and router.
A great router costs about $350, and a great router table costs about $1300. So I'm asking for $2000 to get a table, router, and new router bits. This is including a healthy buffer.
I'm thinking about Excalibur 40-200C Delux Router Table Kit with a Cast Iron Top and a Bosch Router.
Language
We authorize the board to spend up to $2000 on a router, router table, and router bits.
