Accounts

There are three accounts of the status "uncategorized".

1) Uncategorized Expenses

No transactions in this account for years 2009-2012. So, done with this part!

2) Uncategorized Assets

No transactions in this account for years 2009-2012. So, done with this part!

3) Uncategorized Income

We have 12 of these left, all in the savings account. I cannot edit the account for these transactions using the register or the detailed view (that you see when you hit edit). I honestly think that we imported them incorrectly. They are in as sales receipts, and I think we could solve the issue by remaking the transactions as something else (maybe deposits?). I can do this, but I fear that it would invalidate the reconciling. Although, this would just be for savings, which has very few # of transactions. Opinions?

Departments

In checking: Everything for the years 2009-2012 has a department. So, done with this part! In savings: Everything in 2009 has a department. For 2010-2012, we need to just massively assign everything that doesn't already have a department as G&A.

Crap to do still

Paypal

In the middle of getting the statements/balances to the bookkeeper. Hef did some coding to be able to process paypal dumps and create statements for them. He'll be sending this to Noony soon?

I've also just took a quick look at the register. It looks real funky, as there isn't any income coming into the account until 2013. We may be missing transactions that we'll have to input. Probably need to figure this out soon?

Suspect

This is low priority, but everything that is in the Vendor "Suspect", needs to be changed.

"Fees" department

Low priority. Need to double check that there are no transactions in here. Afterwards, we should delete it.

Loan account

We need the statements for the laser loan account. Am I mistaken that we would need to punch these into quickbooks? I'm going with Everett tentatively on Thursday to give me access to the bank account. At the same time, we'll ask if we can get the statements for the laser loan. If we can't at our local branch, I'll go to a business banker downtown. We'll also try to turn on paper statements for all of our accounts.
