The Board of Directors may, by vote, appoint one or more persons to serve in a defined Area Host position, provided that said persons are not Officers or members of the Board of Directors. Should a person holding one or more Area Host positions become an Officer or member of the Board of Directors, that person's appointments to all Area Host positions automatically terminate.

The timing and method of this review will be at the board’s discretion, and all areas need not be considered at the same time. No less often than once per term of the Board of Directors, the review will include a call for candidates for the position.
