*At the time a Starving Hacker's eligibility expires, he must forfeit his or her method of entry in addition to any other property owned by Pumping Station: One to a member of the board of directors or an agent designated by the board of directors for this purpose.

Unlike Full Members, Starving Hackers do not have the right to participate in member votes, or to vote for officers and directors of the organization.  Starving Hackers may not run for officer or director positions.  Being a Starving Hacker does not disqualify a member from becoming an officer or director at some point in the future, but a person must be a Full Member for at least the six months immediately preceding their candidacy for an officer or director position, and must be a Full Member for the entire term as an officer or director.
