Use a light color solid yarn for your main yarn (MC).
EON cast on, across 60 stitches.
Hang comb and weights.
knit 5-6 rows.
Carriage on Left.
#Using needle pusher, select eon starting 30L. Select both end needles. (Move selected needles to D).
#Put carriage in part. Knit 1 row.
#Using needle pusher, select eon starting 30L. Select both end needles.
#Knit 1 row.
#Put carriage in plain. Knit 2 rows.
#Select needles with pusher again, starting at 29L this time. Select both end needles. Knit 1 row.
#Select needles with pusher again, starting at 29L. Select both end needles. Knit 1 row.
#Put carriage in plain. Knit 2 rows.
#Repeat 1-9.
Examine the emerging pattern and note the floats.
Next, we'll do the same thing, this time using 2 different colors of yarn: main color (MC) and contrast color (CC). We'll switch colors every 2 rows.
#Knit 2 rows in MC.
#Switch to CC.
#Using needle pusher, select eon starting 30L. Select both end needles. (Move selected needles to D).

#Repeat 1-10.
When you're finished, knit 10 rows in MC, and remove knitting from the machine.
Examine both sides of the swatch.
