Responsibilities
Adding books
- Add the book to Library Thing
- Username: Pumpingstationone
- Password: ps1frocks
- Look up the Library of Congress Classification
- Sometimes it is listed in Edit Information on Library Thing
- Or you can look it up on the Library of Congress website
- Or you can see what other libraries have tagged the book at the WorldCat website.
- Type the call number in an office program. They are left-aligned 14pt Times New Roman.
- Print it out, cut it out, and attach it to the book with packing tape.
- If the book is to be used by a class or still belongs to someone else, put a red dot sticker on it and add it to the Library Red Dots page.
Removing Books
- In Library Thing, move the book to the Removed collection.
Shelf Reading
Keep the books in order.

Tracking
- When someone checks out a book, move the book in Library Thing to the Checked Out collection.
- Check the cards to make sure people have not kept the books for more than 30 days. If they have, send them an email.
- If anyone has returned a book to the basket
- Move the book in Library Thing back to the correct collection.
