For anyone curious about the 501(c)(3) status as mentioned in the minutes. The gist of it is that we got a letter from the IRS stating that our status was automatically revoked due to not responding to some previous notice (possibly in May 2015?). The letter we got doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me right now and I've shared it with our lawyers to help us understand what's going on and what we need to do to correct this. Once I have more information, I will share it with whoever wants to know. Justin (talk) 13:44, 6 April 2016 (CDT)

:Our lawyer responded to say that he agrees that it's a strange letter to be receiving. He says that he's calling the phone number on the letter to get a better explanation. Justin (talk) 14:19, 6 April 2016 (CDT)

::The lawyers were able to talk to the IRS last week. The letter we got was sent automatically by mistake. We are still a 501(c)(3). We should be expecting to receive a new determination letter soon. I would have updated this page sooner, but there were problems with logging into the wiki last week. Again, PS:1 is still in good standing with respect to 501(c)(3) designation. *When I checked on this in December I was told all available funds had already been used for the program year. The program year expires May 31 2016. Just what will be included in the new program, if there is one, was at that time undetermined. The current program excludes linear LED tubes. I'll make contact again and see if there is new information.Mskilton (talk) 13:42, 7 April 2016 (CDT)

**We are on the wait list for an assessment visit. Visits will be scheduled starting May 1 and can occur any time after that. An assessment consists of a visit by a "Trade Ally" contractor who will make recommendations and prepare an estimate to submit with the application. If the application is approved work can be scheduled to begin after June 1st. Everything is first come first served and the program ends when the money is all allocated. Mathew says typical split is around ComEd 75% ---us or Dan? 25%. I'll be the contact for scheduling and will let everyone know when that will be.Mskilton (talk) 08:49, 18 April 2016 (CDT)
