I admire the | FreeGeek Chicago Code of Conduct so I am trying to come up for one for me and anyone who is my visitor. I'm going to take their code as a template and play around with it until I am happy enough with it to be willing to ask people to comply.

Code

This is a diverse space, and I welcome a diversity of perspectives. My guests and I should display common courtesy towards other members and guests at ps:one.

ps:one is a hackerspace thingee where people get to play with stuff and learn stuff (free geek has an information technology-oriented organization so I may try and come up with some terse thingee like that by way of trying to explain the level of behavior. depending on what is going on it would be like dressing for an IT job versus dancing or going to the beach. So the communication should match impedance of the context. example text from a workshop code of conduct is, All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds and skill levels.)

(I'd like to come up with something that explains etiquette and how to use it.)
