== Background ==

Several members have been asking for the status of the CubePro Trio because it is easy to use and does not require authorization. The issue what the CubePro is that proprietary cartridges are prohibitively expensive. I have addressed that by installing hacked firmware that does not write to the cartridge chip so the current percentage remains the same (this is confirmed). This allows for using 3rd party filament. The goal is to have spools of filament mounted to the top of the machine, and just chips installed in the machine to denote the type of material (e.g. ABS, PLA, INF, Vinyl).

I have been in communication with the sellers/inventors and they are willing to give a discount from $150 to $130 for some help with development in resetting the Infinity Support material & Vinyl material chips.

Also, the EEPROM PCB is gone bad in bay 3. 3D systems sells them for $18 a piece.
