A few volunteers are representing Pumping Station:One at the NYC World Makerfaire on September 20-21st. At our booth, we are going to showcase [http://pumpingstationone.org/2014/05/mini-maker-faire-or-how-i-annoyed-hundreds-of-people/ Derek's noisemaker project]. Each noisemaker kit costs about $5. For previous Mini Makerfaires, members have used their own money to fund noisemakers. For the World Makerfaire we would like to ask Pumping Station:One to cover the cost of the noisemakers. To have 100 noisemakers, it would cost $500.
