The idea of powder coating is a good one, and results can be absolutely fantastic and really take your metal projects to the next level, but as the current one is unfinished, too big for the space, and would need to be cut down to be moved to the other side of the dock to make room for the paint booth, makes it untenable.

The plan is to have it live in the dock, on the north side, near where the air line is (i.e. not where the original one was). Casters will be added so that it can be wheeled around to get out of the way when necessary.
