Why is this page here? This page is a response to the 2021 election process which highlighted areas several where we can improve. The "general pandemic-induced discombobulation" added additional challenges during this election.
This Discourse thread is of interest for additional background.
When you read this page, please keep in mind that blame isn't being dished out here. The point is to objectively review how this year went and have that inform a proposal for a standard or guidelines we can use in the future to ensure improved election communication and deadlines.

Position Descriptions and Responsibilities
The following are descriptions of each elected position. Expectations beyond what are described in the bylaws are included as well as what kind of time investment is expected of a member serving in one of these positions.
