• Intro to the Makerspace

• New People (name - where did you hear about us - what do you make/hack)
  • Joe, heard about the place several times, interested in prototyping cabinets=
  • Jeff, Reddit, a little bit of everything
  • James, website, wants to use laser cutter
  • Joseph, from neighbor, interested in general
  • Artie, came here before Burning Man, interested in building robots
  • Terry, came with son, interested in building robots
  • Mari, searching google, interested in coding, basic skills
  • Secret Gentlemen's Club bike ride came to visit the space.

• Introduction of Board and Area Hosts

• Introduce two random people
  • Ryan, mutual friends, beer brewing equipment and radiation detection equipment
  • Justin, general osmosis, robots, bicycles, beer brewing

• Things that need doing around the space
  • Need to put up a kitchen door
  • Need to get security cameras set up

  • James donated fume extractor
  • Eric Wessing helped Justin fix lights
  • Eric Wessing got Arturo into Restaurant Depot, which got the kitchen the fly trap
  • Andrew for buying air compressor replacement parts
  • Tom for fixing the air compressor

• What have you been hacking
  • Arturo has been making an underwater MP3 player
  • Dubi wants to hack a Comcast DVR. Consensus is that we should use it as plasma cutter practice.

  • September 26-27 - Milwaukee Maker Faire. Help needed at the Faire. Contact Justin.
  • Monday, September 28, 7 PM - NERP (Not Exclusively Raspberry Pi) Tucker Tomlinson will be discussing his research on monkeys.
  • Saturday October 9, 6:30 PM - Dungeon (BDSM) Builders Guild, paddle building
