School Factory
Synopsis
School Factory was the organization that provided PS1 with an umbrella 501(c)(3) before we finally completed our own application and were approved as a Federally-recognized charitable institution by the IRS. Prior to that, PS1 always existed as an Illinois registered NFP, but could not accept charitable donations on it's own behalf. School Factory functioned as a sponsor, and took a small percentage of cash donations for itself, while allowing in-kind donations to happen without any benefit to School Factory. School Factory has since dissolved.

Donation Form
For donated equipment, when a physical donation is accepted by PS1 to forward our mission, you should fill out this form to get a tax write off receipt.
