Even though PS1 is a building sized toolbox in itself, you probably want your own gear handy when you need it. Here's a suggested kit, adapt for your own needs:
* Pencil
* Permanent marker (sharpies - fine and fat tip)
* Index cards / PostIts
* Notebook
* Tape Measure
* Memory stick (for using any CNC machine, including 3D printers, as well as the arts Adobe computer)
* Utility knife
* Adjustable wrench
* Socket and screwdriver kit (An interchangeable screwdriver with bits as well as a socket adapter)
* Tape - cellophane, packing, masking, duct
* Square (Speed square or combination)
# Protection
* Eye protection (available at PS1 but is usually smudged/dirty)
* Ear protection
* Lightweight N95 mask
* Work gloves
# Woodshop
* Router bits
* Collets
* 1/4 and 3/8 Hollow chisel mortiser bits
* Marking gauge
* 2-6" combination square (one english, one metric)
* 6" steel rule english/metric
* 1/4 - 1/2" brad point drill bits / 12mm brad point drill bits
* Case of screwdriver bits in various shapes
* .5 and .7mm mechanical pencils
* Roll of blue masking tape
* Roll of double-stick tape
* 6" digital caliper
