Autobiohacking is an interest group focusing on practical transhumanism: ways to improve our bodies and minds above and beyond what's considered baseline "normal" or "healthy".

Examples include:

  • Improving physical health via effective combinations of diet, exercise, and supplementation. (We won't get to enjoy all the gadgets of the future if we don't live long enough to get there, right?)
  • Improving mental acuity via nootropics, meditation, etc.
  • Augmenting our natural senses and faculties via mediated interfaces, computers as exocortices, etc.
