No one wants to play security guard, but it's wise not to let strangers wander around for many reasons. And no member wants to go through a security inquisition, but a few suggested routine questions should not offend anyone, as the purpose is legitimate:
Are you a member?
If not: "Are you meeting a member or here for an event? Where/when?"
The next part is trickier: trusting guests with fuzzy answers, or making sure the guest has connected with their member before leaving them unescorted?
