Even though PS1 is a building sized toolbox in itself, you probably want your own gear handy when you need it. Here's a suggested kit, adapt for your own needs:
- Pencil
- Permanent marker (sharpies - fine and fat tip)
- Index cards / PostIts
- Notebook
- Tape Measure
- Memory stick (for using any CNC machine, including 3D printers, as well as the arts Adobe computer)
- Utility knife
- Adjustable wrench
- Socket and screwdriver kit (An interchangeable screwdriver with bits as well as a socket adapter)
- Tape - cellophane, packing, masking, duct
- Square (Speed square or combination)
- Protection
- Eye protection (available at PS1 but is usually smudged/dirty)
- Ear protection
- Lightweight N95 mask
- Work gloves
- Woodshop
- Router bits
- Collets
- 1/4 and 3/8 Hollow chisel mortiser bits
- Marking gauge
- 2-6" combination square (one english, one metric)
- 6" steel rule english/metric
- 1/4 - 1/2" brad point drill bits / 12mm brad point drill bits
- Case of screwdriver bits in various shapes
- .5 and .7mm mechanical pencils
- Roll of blue masking tape
- Roll of double-stick tape
- 6" digital caliper
- 6' / 2m tape measure
