Reboot Test

VM01 and VM02 were both rebooted:

VM01's vm's did not turn back on automatically. VM02's services did.

As DHCP leases expired the wifi access nodes began to stop hosting wifi.

Hef shelled into VM01 from the terminal because wifi went offline.

The follwoing command listed the available VMs. All of them were listed as offline.

  vm list

The following commands brought up the remaining machines.

   qm 105 start
   qm 106 start
   qm 107 start
   qm 108 start
   qm 110 start
   qm 115 start
   qm 116 start
   qm 119 start
   qm 129 start

DNS services did not come back right away. Hef shelled into bob.ad.pumpingstationone via it's up address (10.100.0.105) and restarted named.

   sudo sytemctl restart named
  • Dave had independently turned on ns01 on vm02 at 18:06:56
  • Hef had restarted named on bob at 18:07:07

Everything appears to be working more or less normally now.
