The software can import a lot of formats, but it is very old, so it needs old versions of the file formats.  The software has a Copyright date of 1991-2001.  You can use DXF files, but I found the the version had to be a pre 2000 version.  I used DXF Rev 12 ASCII format for example.  Some formats have not changed in years like HPGL and are good to use.

Tips on how to use (After Certified)

Loading the Media.

  • Raise the lever on the upper back right of the machine
  • Slide in the media. It helps to have a rectangular piece so the machine can recognize the size. Center it over some of the grooved rollers so they are as close to the edges as possible.

Importing Files.

The software can import a lot of formats, but it is very old, so it needs old versions of the file formats. The software has a Copyright date of 1991-2001. You can use DXF files, but I found the the version had to be a pre 2000 version. I used DXF Rev 12 ASCII format for example. Some formats have not changed in years like HPGL and are good to use.
