Things that need doing around the space

• We need people who want to work on member database and member management
  • Dallas maker space Maker Manager and WHMCS
  • Payments go through authorize.net
  • Every member has RFID badges
  • Maker manager is open source
  • Operations are pretty much 100% automated
  • Robert from Dallas is working on a commercial solution - RFIDInterlock.com
• Eric just posted a list of things he would like done to the Google Group - check it out! [1]
• Compressed air into the woodshop - just needs to be done!
• Scrap metal bin in hot metals has wheels - but they're insufficient for the amount of metal in the barrel.
  • Put some (sturdier) new wheels on, cut down the box.
    • Brian will help!

Awesome Callouts

• Daron showed Ron how to do taps and dies to put in a hole for a sharpie bit
• David for communicating and resolving the saw stop triggering

What have you been hacking

• Ron made a bit for the shopbot that will hold a sharpie - shopbot plotter!
  • Ron also has a post-processor that will ensure that bit is not spinning
• Larry made a piece on the mill for a sailboat: a cover for a deck fitting

Announcements

• Rubber gloves are in first aid kits
• Maker faire - rumors! Whispered secrets!
• We will be hosts for Chicago Open House weekend
• NERP - Monday - Ron will talk to us about his Amazon Echo / Alexa skill Hello World project
  • Ray is going to NERP!
• Pumping Station: One is turning 8!!!
  • Party Party Party - food, drink, music, 6:30 pm until later - April 22nd Saturday
• TOOOL - lockpicking - tomorrow
• Vote coming for drum surface sander
• Woodshop authorizer and hot metals authorizer positions are open! Send the board an application.
• Foamsmithing class on Sunday
• Analog game night, Saturday
