The membership agreement raises the cost of membership, essentially by $20/month. This should be denoted explicitly as a major change. --Rdpierce (talk) 00:23, 27 December 2018 (CST)

  • The price of membership has not yet been set by the Board and is not a decision for the membership - that is currently a placeholder. --Rtystgeeke (talk) 14:47, 14 January 2019 (CST)

The large project storage fee of $10/week doesn’t seem well defined. Is this a cost for a parking permit? How big is big? What is included? The boats on the ceiling? The Power Wheels cars lying around? Etc. --Rdpierce (talk) 00:23, 27 December 2018 (CST)

  • The large project storage refers to any pre-designated storage area or temporary storage area set up by an area host, where something will be stored for more than 24 hours, will need a voucher for that storage. Tidy Space rules apply. --Rtystgeeke (talk) 14:47, 14 January 2019 (CST)
  • I have added a date this section will go into effect so that the board has enough time to evaluate the pricing structure. --Rtystgeeke (talk) 15:02, 16 January 2019 (CST)

What is the timeline for this vote? I’m concerned some bad things can happen if this is voted on at a meeting with other votes happening, considering that it fundamentally changed a lot of things about a how voting works. --Rdpierce (talk) 00:27, 27 December 2018 (CST)

  • Soon. Would like to get this passed by the end of January.--Rtystgeeke (talk) 14:47, 14 January 2019 (CST)

It’s unclear how CTO and PR director positions will work. I am guessing that, if approved, the Board will add two At Large director positions so that the CTO and PR director can hold the offices. But what happens going forward? At large director positions aren’t differentiated, so how can these positions be elected? --Rdpierce (talk) 00:35, 27 December 2018 (CST)

  • I don't think it's important for these positions to be elected. What the membership elects is the oversight of the organization. The board oversees the execution of the purpose and goals of the organization - CTO and PR are largely responsible for the execution of those goals and should not be burdened with the oversight of other org matters. --Rtystgeeke (talk) 14:47, 14 January 2019 (CST)
  • These positions have been put back in to the Bylaws for this vote to be discussed at a later time. --Rtystgeeke (talk) 15:02, 16 January 2019 (CST)
