ZOO

ZOO stands for Zen Office Hours, which means a semi-regular meeting of the Zen Woodworking Club.

Zen Woodworking Club is an ad-hoc, non-funded, unsanctioned meetup of PS1 members and their guests that revolves around mostly woodworking with hand tools.

The naming convention "OO" is a PS1 thing, where OO stands for "office hours" despite "hours" not starting with O. "Office hours" means a meeting or gathering that doesn't have to have an agenda, a single teacher or leader, or anything else besides the noncommittal understanding that the published hours are when interested folks are encouraged and a bit more likely to show up for whatever topic the office hours might address.

ZOO and any other office hours may or may not be published on the PS1 Google calendar, Meetup.com, or any other media or means.
