    • Heat for 3519 is out of service.
      • waiting on pumps for the recirculating pump
      • 3517 heat should still be okay, that boiler hasn't let us down yet
    • Short circuit in arts interrupted the meeting!
  • CTO
    • Working on aligning projects for the rest of the year and next year
      • A bunch of discord bots in progress
        • Including red ticket machine update!
        • Door access system!
          • Get into door without fob, but still validates membership!
    • Ron is working on completing the Stripe to WA integration
      • Hoping for end of the month rollout
      • no immediate or direct impact on members
        • Will change how they update or cancel memberships in the future
    • Proxmox is now supported by our server backup software, so we can move off VMware (Due to the broadcom buyout)

    • Newsletter just went out, no PR team present.

New Business

  • A power outage at the space disrupted the beginning of this meeting.
  • Joe has generated QR Codes for Donorbox for each area
    • They are shared on Discord with the area hosts.
    • Sky asks what the next steps are
      • Wingate suggest printing stickers on the MIMAKI with some standardized format
      • Ron agrees, just print them out and sticking them up works too.
  • Silent auction notionally planned for December 7th in the space
    • Inviting members to make things and sell them
    • Petersen Plastics has donated a $100's worth of acrylic towards this goal
      • Members can requisition this to make things for the auction
    • Andrew W. asks if the board cares if he can fund small amounts of materials to allow members to make things for the auction.
      • This will come out of the electronics budget
      • Peter asks if we can give the materials to new members to encourage them to stay involved?
        • Andrew says no.
        • Carl points out this is specifically donated towards this auction project.
        • James says they can take some later after the auction.
  • Andrew talked to the roofer
    • The roof is really in bad shape, it needs a new roof.
    • The roofer is tired of replacing it.
    • Roofer's rough number is ~ $80,000 to replace.
      • The tar and gravel roof makes it expensive apparently.
      • Our patching guy can't really do it.
      • Andrew M. adds in
        • Since it is the outside of the building, this is a landlord expense.
          • Wingate agrees, but wants to point out that we are about to take over the building ideally.
          • We should make sure we do the repairs correctly since they will become our problem.
          • Andrew M. Agrees, but we should be able to use this as leverage while buying the building.
      • Sky's condo roof is getting replaced
        • Similar size to PS:1
        • Avg. quote was bout 50k.
      • the meeting went off on some tangent about the roof and building due diligence.
  • Andrew talked to Tony last week to get some vague details about what deal we can get.
    • The baloon payment at the end was a "surprise" to Tony
    • Tony was thinking 2.5-3% interest.
    • 20-30,000 dollars?
    • Numbers don't look great.
    • The owner financing might not be the best option for the organization, we should maybe pursue other options
      • Like traditional financing.
      • Or maybe Seek financing through the membership potentially, micro-loans through individuals as bonds.

    • Property tax exemption requires paperwork
      • Carl and Andrew W. are looking into this.

    • The landlords don't agree right now with what they want.
    • Please specify which landlord from now on while we are talking.
    • Eric has been talking to Dan, Andrew W. has been talking to Tony.
    • We want to try to speak only to Dan.
    • People can explore whatever options they want in the meanitme.
    • Donzell says it sounds like we need to wait for some more paperwork from the landlord?
      • James agrees.
      • Carl wants to go off and do more research with chase banking people
    • This conversation went on for a while, many opinions no new real information.
    • Board meeting ended at 8:55.
