information retention policies

I'm bringing this up due to camera discussion. I saw discussion earlier this year on information retention as well as private data handling, but I am not up to date on the discussions that happened. I'd like the board and people involved to provide a status update. When I was on the board this was important to me and I stated my positions. I'd like to be able to provide those to the new board. Maybe we should have a wiki page or something where we can post status info. Skm (talk) 09:19, 4 January 2017 (CST)

The bylaws committee is working on a new member agreement, which would include a new privacy policy. The board's position is that this is something that should come from the membership for a member vote. --Esp (talk) 19:10, 17 January 2017 (CST)

camera installation

I have a complaint from 2 years ago when it was claimed that the cameras were installed. The person who made the claim did not create an equipment wiki page or provide any details to the board about the installation. I made an equipment page to be filled in, and it never got filled in. I am unhappy about this and would like to know how things can be better in the future. When we get new equipment and someone says they have installed it, how will it be verified? Camera update: Andrew verified that the system works and is recording things. Some of the cameras are not installed/aimed properly. Andrew found a couple of other cameras that need to be installed. He has some ideas about how to document the cameras, and would be happy to have anybody else

missing committee notes

Update Hosted Areas

I'm sorry I wasn't clear that I was intending this to be another interim map. I was thinking it will be awhile before Cold Metals fully moves out of the new Small Metals area.Mskilton (talk) 08:01, 5 January 2017 (CST)
