Hahahaha, good one. For real? Kuroishi (talk) 17:40, 23 July 2015 (CDT)

Are you serious, dude? Gonna vote no on this. Come on.--Toba (talk) 17:44, 23 July 2015 (CDT)

Yes this is serious this type of behaviour has no place on a board of directors --Amishhammer (talk) 17:50, 23 July 2015 (CDT)

Since I fear that this vote will create a sad, unpleasant atmosphere and accomplish nothing, I am proposing that we also vote on Vote to Sing Kumbaya In Chorus and Eat Tasty Snacks to make up for it.--Toba (talk) 18:05, 23 July 2015 (CDT)

Seriously disappointed. Absolutely going to be voting no on this. --Bry (talk) 18:25, 3 August 2015 (CDT)

I realized I hadn't registered my dissent to the vote. Tom should retract this vote. I feel he is over-reacting to events. As the vote stands, I have voted No already. As the other director at large, I feel that Jenny was acting responsibly in helping oversee finances. Kyle has a good post about this on the mailing list. Skm (talk) 09:25, 7 August 2015 (CDT)

On a less sarcastic note than my earlier comment, I too want to voice extreme disappointment in this childish tantrum of a vote. I also want to add that I feel it is extremely disingenuous for someone having assumed a position to assist in the administrative running of our community to waste community resources (Money, time on retained services, volunteer hours that should really be spent working to correct setbacks in critical space issues) on this wanton display of unexcellence. I really feel that this vote should be retracted, as it is a waste of community health and resources. Kuroishi (talk) 07:11, 9 August 2015 (CDT)

On one hand, I strongly support Tom's right to call this vote, and I am working to see that it happens according to proper procedures as mandated by our Bylaws and state law. But on the other hand, I have personally lost all respect for Tom that I previously held. Serving as a Board member and observing the public and private interactions, the idea that what Jenny did was somehow "impeachable" is appalling. Tom could have availed himself of other channels to resolve his dispute with Jenny, but he did not. Instead he took the least responsible and least mature approach - he ragequit and proposed this impeachment vote. There has been absolutely zero public support expressed for Tom's position, and a lot of public opposition; based on this, I think it fair to predict that the vote will be overwhelmingly in Jenny's favor, vindicating her and making Tom look like a petulant child. And as Doorman Dave noted, our Bylaws are deficient in how to conduct this vote, so the Board needed to engage outside counsel to determine the proper procedures. This is a waste of the Board's time and resources. It would be in the best interest of the space for Tom to withdraw this vote, and I think doing so would also save him personal embarrassment and humiliation. --Rdpierce (talk) 09:48, 10 August 2015 (CDT)

As a member of the board of directors, I do not consider Jenny's actions to have been unreasonable. I will be voting no on this proposal. --Dbever (talk) 21:50, 12 August 2015 (CDT)

Is this still a thing?

Is this still a thing? --Hef (talk) 11:14, 11 September 2015 (CDT)

I spoke with Tom on 9/6 and asked him if he wished to proceed now that the voting issues have been ironed out. He said he'd get back to me by 9/7 am. I have heard nothing from him. I am not going to move forward with holding the vote unless I hear affirmatively that he wishes to do so. Also, it would require 20 days notice so the soonest it could happen now is 10/6. --Rdpierce (talk) 12:28, 11 September 2015 (CDT)
